Schulklassen-Wettbewerb

A school-class competition run by the newspaper Schweizer Bauer for the 2025/2026 school year. Classes (grades 5–9) create an A3 double-page with student-written articles and images on an agricultural topic; selected pages are published by the newspaper. The winning class receives a school trip with overnight stay and meals, and all participating classes receive teaching materials and support during the project.

Main prize: a school trip including overnight accommodation and meals. Participating classes receive a class set of Schweizer Bauer delivered for 6–8 weeks, a project implementation plan and teaching materials, ideas and a list of helpful companies, editorial support, text editing, final layout and publication of the double-page.

School classes in grades 5 to 9 (Schulklassen) from the German-speaking part of Switzerland are invited to participate; teachers should register their class and indicate the chosen topic area.

Teachers register their class via the indicated sign-up link and explain which class they teach and which agricultural topic area they choose to work on to receive further information.
