The Mercy Corps Ventures AI for Financial Resilience Initiative seeks startups building AI-enabled financial products for unbanked and underbanked populations in emerging markets. The program pilots and scales solutions using AI and blockchain to improve access to insurance, credit, savings, and payments, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Selected startups receive equity-free grants and in-kind support including mentorship and partnerships opportunities.
