The Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation offers research grants for scholars at academic institutions, with priority given to collaborative projects involving Taiwan institutions and a focus on Taiwan Studies. Grants are intended for humanities and social sciences research and may cover living costs, travel expenses, and other research-related costs; salaries are generally not provided except for summer salary calculated at 1/9 of the scholar's annual salary. Applications are submitted through the Foundation's online application database during an annual application window.
