BPL Scholarship Scheme for College Students, Chhattisgarh 2026-27

The BPL Scholarship Scheme for College Students in Chhattisgarh provides financial support for students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies in government colleges under the state’s Higher Education Department. It is targeted at students from Below Poverty Line households who have their name on the BPL card and study in eligible government colleges. The sanctioned amount is disbursed directly to the student’s bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer.

Monthly financial support (up to ₹500 per month) disbursed via DBT.

Permanent resident of Chhattisgarh, studying in a government college under the state’s Higher Education Department, and belonging to the BPL category with name on the BPL card; must not be receiving benefits from any other scholarship and must have passed the previous year on the first attempt.
