Voices Awards 2026

The Voices Awards 2026 is an international competition organized within the Voices Festival that recognises innovative ideas and changemakers in journalism and media freedom. It includes multiple categories and offers a monetary prize to winners, along with support for attending the Voices Festival in Florence.

€1,200 monetary prize; travel and accommodation coverage for the winner to attend the festival; public presentation of awardees.

Applicants may be natural persons or legal entities, including media outlets, freelance journalists, journalism students, trainee journalists, and groups active in media literacy; must be legally residing or established in EU27 and associated countries, with a separate eligibility for one category that allows applicants from outside the EU for that prize.
