The Investigative Journalism Mentorship Programme for Women 2026 is a 12-month hybrid mentorship initiative by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) to develop female journalists and professionals in investigative reporting. It combines residential training, long-term mentorship, and a newsroom attachment to build practical investigative reporting skills and professional development. Selected participants receive mentorship, financial support, and hands-on experience through a newsroom placement and production of investigative stories.

Monthly stipend, financial support for investigative work, editorial guidance, mentorship from editors and governance experts, six-month newsroom attachment, certificate upon completion, and hands-on reporting experience.
応募資格
Female journalism graduates, early-career journalists, or young professionals interested in accountability journalism; must be a female Ghanaian national and available to participate from July 2026 to June 2027.
応募方法
Submit a motivation letter, links to two published articles (or one blog post for non-journalists), employer consent letter for staff journalists, and a current CV with two referees.
