MIT Fellowships provides MIT students with funding through the Public Service Fellowship program to address needs of underserved communities worldwide. Each year, about 50 MIT students receive funding for fellowships spanning fall, IAP, spring, and summer, with Fellowships implemented in Cambridge, across the United States, or globally.

Stipend for eligible fellowships; coverage of certain expenses for team fellowships (airfare, ground transportation, on-site housing).

Eligibility is based on potential sustainable benefit to underserved communities, growth/educational value, motivation, alignment with community needs, and feasibility; programs may be undertaken in Cambridge, elsewhere in the US, or globally.
