Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program (SIFP) 2026-2027

The Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program offers in-resident opportunities for independent research and study related to Smithsonian collections, facilities, and/or research interests of the Institution and its staff. Fellowships are available to graduate students, predoc, postdoctoral, and senior investigators to conduct independent research with Smithsonian professionals serving as advisors and hosts.

Stipend provided; in-residence opportunity with Smithsonian access and mentorship from professional staff

Fellowships are offered to graduate students, predoc, postdoctoral, and senior investigators to conduct independent research and to utilize Smithsonian resources; applicants must present materials in English.
