ERASMUS+: European Degree Explanatory Action Grants

The Erasmus+ European Degree Explanatory Action Grants support universities in the design, adaptation, and implementation of innovative and inclusive transnational joint degree programmes at bachelor, master, or doctoral levels, aligned with the joint European degree label. The action promotes excellence in higher education and includes student support mechanisms to improve inclusive access for students. Proposals involve a consortium of at least two eligible higher education institutions from different eligible countries and cover activities such as adaptation of existing programmes, design of new joint programmes, and dissemination.

Applicants must be legal entities (public or private bodies) established in eligible countries and include a consortium of at least two eligible entities from two different eligible countries; higher education institutions must hold a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE).

Proposals must be submitted online via the Funding & Tenders Portal; see the stated deadline of 17 March 2026.
