Junior Professional Programme at the Financial Mechanism Office

The Junior Professional Programme is a one-year, paid placement at the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) of the EFTA. It offers nine openings across units including Communication, Administration and HR, Legal Affairs, Finance and Control, Funds and Horizontal Concerns, Country and Bilateral Cooperation, and Priority Sectors, for a cohort from 1 September 2026 to 15 August 2027. The programme is targeted at graduates with a Master’s degree in relevant fields and provides a monthly stipend, housing, insurance, travel reimbursement, and language training support.

Nationals of the EEA EFTA States who hold a Master’s degree in law, economics, statistics, political science, international relations, business administration, or related fields; 1-2 years of work experience and knowledge of priority sectors are advantageous; fluency in English.
