NASA TechRise Student Challenge 2025 for U.S. Schools

The NASA TechRise Student Challenge is a competition where teams of middle to high school students from U.S. public, private, or charter schools develop science or technology experiments for NASA flight vehicles. Winners receive a monetary prize, a starter kit, and an opportunity to test their experiment on a NASA-sponsored flight with technical support during the build phase.

Prize money ($1,500 per winning team), starter kit, test flight opportunity on a NASA-sponsored flight, and technical support during the build phase.

Open to SCHOOLS in U.S. states and territories. Teams must include students in grades 6-12, with a teacher or school employee submitting the proposal.
