GM R&D AI/ML PhD Intern — Fall 2026 (Mountain View, Hybrid)

The GM R&D AI/ML PhD Intern is a Fall 2026 research internship at General Motors in Mountain View, focused on applying AI and machine learning to vehicle development, predictive engineering, safety, energy/propulsion systems and next-generation mobility. The role involves collaborative research combining data, physics-based understanding, and modern AI/ML techniques from concept through implementation and validation. Work may lead to external publications and/or intellectual property and is performed under GM R&D technical leadership. The position is hybrid, requiring 3+ days per week in the Mountain View office and starts on 2026-09-07.
