GIST International Scholarships 2027

The GIST International Scholarships 2027 is a fully funded programme for international students to pursue Master’s, PhD, and integrated Master’s leading to PhD programs at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in South Korea. It covers tuition fees, stipends, health insurance, and travel support, enabling recipients to undertake graduate study and research at a leading science and engineering university. The scholarships are available across multiple departments including Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Life Science, Physics and Photon Science, Biomedical Science and Engineering, AI Graduate School, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, and Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering.

Full tuition waiver; monthly stipends; research assistantship; health insurance; settlement allowance; flight reimbursement to South Korea

Open to international students from all countries. Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, PhD applicants must hold a master’s degree, and integrated Master’s & PhD applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree.
