KIT International Excellence Award combined with the SCHROFF Foundation Fellowship for 2026

The KIT International Excellence Award combined with the SCHROFF Foundation Fellowship invites one internationally recognized scientist to collaborate with KIT in Germany for a dedicated research stay of up to six months, conducting a self-designed project and engaging with KIT researchers. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and aims to strengthen global academic partnerships and address future societal challenges. The award includes financial and institutional support to enable the proposed research stay and potential follow-on collaborations.

Financial support for equipment, subsistence allowance for living costs, potential additional research grant for a parallel stay, and institutional collaboration opportunities with KIT.

Candidates are internationally recognized scientists working outside Germany and may be nominated by KIT-affiliated researchers.

Nominations are submitted by KIT-affiliated scientists; the nomination package includes documents such as the nomination form, scientific appraisal, invitation letter, CV, publications list, and letters of recommendation.
