EACAT Privately Funded Scholarship 2026

The EACAT Privately Funded Scholarship is a monthly stipend scholarship for Asian postgraduate students intending to study in Japan, administered by the East Asian Circle of Applied Technology (EACAT). It covers living and study-related expenses for one academic year (April 2026–March 2027) but does not cover tuition. The programme aims to support Master’s and Doctoral students enrolled at a Japanese institution starting in April 2026.

Monthly living stipend; access to EACAT academic and networking environment; participation in foundation meetings and engagement with fellow Asian postgraduate scholars.

Applicants must be citizens of an Asian country or region and be enrolled as a Master’s or Doctoral student at a Japanese institution from April 2026 to March 2027; must have Japanese language proficiency for communication and documents; must not be receiving another scholarship worth 150,000 yen or more per month; must attend mandatory monthly meetings and the in-person interview scheduled for March 2026.
