DAAD STIBET I Scholarships

The DAAD STIBET I Scholarships is a funded program for international students at Freie Universität Berlin to support their studies in 2026. It provides a monthly stipend for students facing specific personal responsibilities or challenges and aims to improve access to higher education. The scholarship is open to FU Berlin students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or State Exam programs who meet defined eligibility criteria and demonstrates a focus on non-merit-based selection.

Monthly stipend of €250 for 10 months (March–December 2026) plus support aimed at improving access for students facing specified responsibilities or challenges.

International students regularly enrolled in FU Berlin Bachelor’s, Master’s, or State Exam programs who meet one or more conditions (refugee background, having a child under 12, being a caregiver, or having a disability or chronic illness).
