Gotoh Tokyu Group Scholarship 2027

The Gotoh Tokyu Group Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded scholarship for outstanding international students to pursue a Master's degree followed by a PhD at Tokyo City University (TCU), Japan. It is funded by the Gotoh Educational Corporation (Tokyu Group) and supports students with excellent academic records and research potential. The scholarship is available for graduate programmes in integrative science and engineering, and environmental and information studies. Recipients receive tuition and accommodation support plus an annual stipend.

Annual scholarship of ¥1,000,000; full tuition waiver; full admission fee waiver; university accommodation support; initial and continued dormitory rent covered.

Applicants from all countries who have completed at least 16 years of formal education and have completed a bachelor's degree within the previous two years; must demonstrate outstanding academic performance, preferably ranked in top 10% of their university or country, provide a recommendation from a university president or equivalent, must not be receiving another scholarship, must be willing to enrol in both the master's and doctoral programmes at Tokyo City University, and must obtain approval from a prospective academic supervisor before applying.

Select a research field, complete Prior Consultation Forms (B & D) and submit to Tokyo City University to identify and obtain approval from a prospective supervisor, then complete and submit the official scholarship application with required documents before the deadline.
