UNESCO Global Youth Hackathon 2025

The UNESCO Global Youth Hackathon 2025 invites teams of young people to develop MIL (media and information literacy) solutions addressing AI, misinformation, online safety, platform governance, and information integrity. Teams compete to present innovative projects, with opportunities for final presentation at a UNESCO-supported event.

Flight and accommodation for finalists to Cartagena, Colombia; mentoring by international experts; opportunity to present at the Global MIL Week Conference.

Teams of 3–6 members, with all team members aged 18–30; no prior experience required.
