The British Academy APEX Awards 2026 offer established independent researchers an interdisciplinary research funding opportunity, in partnership with the Royal Society and the Royal Academy of Engineering. The programme supports collaboration across disciplines to pursue cross-disciplinary research and to seed innovative projects with partner researchers from other disciplines. Applicants are expected to collaborate with researchers from different disciplines and to focus on advancing their research through seed funding.

応募資格
Open to established independent researchers with an outstanding track record, who will collaborate with a researcher from a different discipline and be based at a UK institution, with support from their Head of Department.

Applications submitted through the Royal Society’s grant management system, Flexi-Grant, by the stated deadline.
