FONTAGRO LATAM Impact Agrobioentrepreneurship Contest 2025

The FONTAGRO LATAM Impact Agrobioentrepreneurship Contest 2025 aims to identify, incubate and accelerate a large number of regional agribusiness initiatives focused on sustainable use of biodiversity and biomass. It recognizes proposals in key bioeconomy sectors and offers support to selected startups through incubation and acceleration programs. Six winning agribusinesses will receive vouchers to support their incubation, with additional participation in a regional incubation pathway and inclusion in a catalog of impact agrienterprises.

Vouchers up to USD 15,000 for incubation; participation in a specialized incubation and acceleration program beginning in February 2026; inclusion of the 100 best proposals in LATAM’s first catalog of impact agrienterprises.

Proposals can be submitted by agricultural producers, producer organizations, and/or private companies operating in any IDB borrowing country in Latin America and/or Spain; any research and/or public or private development institution or organization such as universities, research centers, NGOs, etc.; and the public sector of any IDB borrowing country in Latin America and/or Spain.
