Sumitomo Electric Global Internship 2025

The Sumitomo Electric Global Internship is a fully funded internship program in Japan for international students. It offers practical work experience at Sumitomo Electric Industries’ headquarters or R&D facilities in Osaka and Yokohama, with a duration of 10 to 12 weeks and potential full-time opportunities after the internship.

Round-trip airfare to Japan, weekly living allowance, accommodation, meals, rail pass (if applicable), travel insurance, potential full-time position after the internship.

Open to international applicants worldwide who are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an approved university and have fundamental English communication skills; eligible fields include Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Human Resources Development, Physics, Engineering Optics, and Optical Fibers.
