Prix Égalité Femmes-Hommes de l'AIMF

The Prix Égalité Femmes-Hommes is an initiative of the Association Internationale des Maires Francophones (AIMF) to recognise and support projects or actions advancing gender equality in the Francophone space. Laureates are selected for concrete contributions to improving the position of women in society, economic life, and political and social spheres. The prize comprises an honorary award with financial or technical support, and there are three categories for different types of actors.

International recognition within the Francophone community, networking opportunities with other project leaders and actors, media visibility, and potential financial or technical support for project development.

Candidatures may be submitted by structures, institutions or local authorities that are AIMF members (or partners) located in the Francophone space; three categories cover local authorities, associations of local authorities, and civil society organizations.
