Undergraduate Research Internship Program

The Undergraduate Research Internship Program (UGRIP) is a fully funded research internship hosted on the MBZUAI campus in Abu Dhabi for undergraduate students to work on AI-related projects for about four weeks, with opportunities for mentorship and professional networking. It provides flights, accommodation, visa, insurance, and a monthly stipend, along with cultural and recreational activities. The program brings together top students from the UAE and around the world to collaborate with faculty and graduate students.

Flight tickets, on-campus accommodation, visa support, health insurance, monthly stipend, and cultural/educational activities during the program.

Open to undergraduate students in years 3–5 in STEM-related fields who have a minimum 3.5/4.0 CGPA and will have completed the current semester after the internship; English proficiency requirements apply.
