Midnight & indigo Call for Short Stories from Black Women Writers

Midnight & Indigo is issuing an open call for previously unpublished short stories by Black women writers. Submissions should be literary fiction that explores identity, relationships, and the human condition, with emotionally resonant narratives and strong writing. Accepted pieces are paid at a rate of $0.07 per word, with payment upon publication, and may be published on midnightandindigo.com or in their print journal or upcoming anthology.
