Compass Civics Youth Policy Research Program Fall 2026

The Compass Civics Youth Policy Research Program is a structured mentorship-driven initiative for youth to strengthen policy research skills, understand the policy-making process, and present evidence-based policy recommendations to local leaders and decision-makers. It focuses on solving real community challenges through research, policy analysis, and civic engagement, culminating in a presentation to community leaders. The program aims to develop skills in policy analysis, communication, and civic leadership for future public policy work.

Mentorship throughout the research process, development of professional research and communication skills, exposure to policy analysis and civic engagement, and opportunities to present to community leaders.
