The Safety Engineer for the CMS Experiment is a fixed-term staff position within the CMS Safety Office responsible for safety-related activities at the CMS experimental sites during Long Shutdown 3. The role includes leading technical reviews of fire protection and safety monitoring systems, contributing to the Alarm Action Matrix, coordinating installation, integration and commissioning of safety infrastructure, and guiding risk assessments. The post requires coordination with CMS Technical Coordination, subdetector teams and other stakeholders across underground and surface facilities.

特典

Monthly salary (minimum net entry-salary specified), 30 days paid leave plus 2 weeks annual closure, comprehensive health insurance, CERN Pension Fund membership, family/child allowances, relocation package (installation grant, removal, travel expenses) and potential contract extension/indefinite tenure eligibility.
