FutureFoodS – European Partnership 'Sustainable Food Systems for People, Planet and Climate' (call: Accelerating Food Sustainability)

FutureFoodS is a European Partnership to mobilize research and innovation for sustainable food systems. The listed call, "Accelerating Food Sustainability – through Household Dietary Shifts, Trust and Transparency, and Innovations in Circular Food Processing Systems", funds transnational research and innovation projects addressing household dietary practice, circular food processing systems, and the role of trust and transparency. Projects must be collaborative, involve partners from multiple participating countries, and demonstrate transformational impact; maximum project duration is 36 months.

Project funding (up to €450,000 for FWF project leaders), support for transnational collaboration, up to 36 months of project duration.

The call is open to researchers at universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research departments active in the FutureFoodS domain; each proposal must be carried by at least three partners from at least three different participating partner countries. Applicants are funded by their respective national/regional funding organisations.

Two-stage submission: submit a concept proposal to the central Call Office electronic submission system within the concept-call window; selected consortia submit full proposals in the second stage. Additionally, administrative and financial data and scientific abstracts must be submitted to FWF's elane system in the specified program categories and by the stated local Vienna deadlines.
