World Robotics Olympiad

The World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) is an international robotics competition in which teams from many countries compete in category-based challenges. More than 60 countries take part and national top teams advance to international finals. Categories are age-based (for example an under-15 group) and include task-specific challenges such as scanning and sorting coloured blocks. National finalists qualify for the international final round.

Top three teams in each category advance to the international final; participants gain competition experience.

The competition is organised in age-based categories (for example an under-15 group) with teams competing in categories such as the 'regular' category.
