TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 2025

The TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowship Programme provides fellowships to young scientists from developing countries (excluding Pakistan) to pursue PhD research in chemical and biological sciences at ICCBS in Karachi, Pakistan. The fellowship supports studies leading to a PhD with fields including organic chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pharmacology, physical chemistry or analytical chemistry, with a minimum duration of 6 months and a maximum period to be decided with ICCBS.

Monthly stipend to cover living costs; research environment at ICCBS with supervision for PhD studies.

Open to young scientists from developing countries (other than Pakistan) who wish to pursue research towards a PhD in chemical and biological sciences; candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a natural science and meet the other listed requirements.
