The ESD Okayama Award recognizes outstanding Education for Sustainable Development initiatives anywhere in the world. One or two projects are selected to receive the award, with up to $3,000 USD prize. One representative from the implementing organization will be invited to attend the award ceremony in Okayama, Japan and present the project; the ceremony is held in conjunction with the 14th Global RCE Conference in Okayama City.
