International Training Scholarships 2027-2028

The International Training Scholarships are competitive scholarships administered by ARES for selected short-cycle bachelor's specialisations, specialised master's degrees and continuing training programmes for candidates from partner countries. Scholarships cover international travel, subsistence allowance, certain insurance and tuition fees (depending on the type of programme) and may cover exceptional visa costs for degree programmes. Duration varies by programme type: up to 12 months for bachelor's and specialised master's degrees and up to 6 months for continuing training.

International travel expenses; subsistence allowance; visa-related exceptional costs (for bachelor's and specialised master's); tuition fees (for bachelor's and specialised master's); indirect mission expenses (for continuing education); insurance costs.

Applicants must be permanent residents and work in one of the 32 eligible partner countries (with an exception for Palestinian nationals), hold a graduate degree earned no more than 20 years prior to the programme start (with extensions for childbirth/adoption), demonstrate at least two years of relevant professional experience in one of the eligible countries, complete the application in the language of instruction and apply to only one programme.
