Schmidt Science Fellows Nominations Process Begins for 2020 Cohort

The Schmidt Science Fellows program identifies promising early-career scientists and invites nominees to apply through an online portal for a one-year interdisciplinary postdoctoral fellowship. The selection process includes an academic screen, virtual interviews, and a final in-person interview with leaders in science, technology, business, and academia. Eligible candidates are those who have completed or are expected to complete all PhD requirements between May 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020 and who demonstrate a capacity for interdisciplinary research and leadership.

Early-career scientists who have completed, or are expected to complete, all PhD requirements between 1 May 2019 and 30 June 2020.

Nominees are invited to apply through Schmidt Science Fellows' online portal after nomination; a multi-stage selection process follows, including an academic screen, virtual interviews, and a final in-person interview.
