Perpetual Planet Expeditions

Perpetual Planet Expeditions is a programme launched by the National Geographic Society in partnership with Rolex to conduct Explorer-led scientific expeditions in key mountain, rainforest and ocean systems. It convenes multidisciplinary teams to examine and document the impacts of climate and environmental change and to identify scalable solutions in collaboration with local communities. The programme combines scientific research, cutting-edge technology, storytelling and education to advance knowledge and inspire conservation action. Expeditions have produced peer-reviewed publications and local partnerships to address conservation challenges.
