AREF Research Development Fellowship Programme 2025/2026

The AREF Research Development Fellowship Programme provides opportunities for talented health researchers based in Africa to lead research addressing African health needs. It aims to develop emerging African scientists by building skills, experience, confidence and research outputs, focusing on human health research in infectious and non-communicable diseases significant in Africa. The programme includes funding for fellowships with placement durations and a Seed Fund to develop pilot data for larger grants.
