Medal for Scientific Journalism

The Medal for Scientific Journalism is awarded by the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft for journalistic achievements that significantly contribute to the dissemination of scientific-physical thinking in the German-speaking public. The prize consists of a silver medal and a certificate with a citation and laudation. The medal is awarded at irregular intervals on appropriate occasions. Recipients are selected by the DPG board, which may consult an ad-hoc committee.
