DFG Calendar 2027 Photo Competition

The DFG Calendar 2027 Photo Competition solicits photographic and visual motifs that reference selected DFG-funded projects for inclusion as twelve monthly images in the DFG wall calendar. The theme for the 2027 calendar is "Dynamik", which may be interpreted broadly. The twelve best submissions will be chosen by a jury and reproduced in the calendar; winning projects receive copies of the calendar.

Twelve selected motifs are published in the DFG wall calendar; winning projects receive five complimentary copies of the calendar each.

Eligible are all currently DFG-funded projects. Submitted images may be created by researchers or by photographers commissioned by the projects; illustrations, models, graphics and collages are also permitted.

Send landscape-format images (7000 x 3000 pixels, print-ready, ideally 300 dpi) with a project description and image description (~1,000 characters) by email to kalender@dfg.de.
