STIPINST Scheme: Registration of Doctoral Students (by invitation only)

The registration call enables research institutes that have been awarded salary and operating funds under the STIPINST scheme to register the doctoral students for whom funding has been committed. The funds are allocated for doctoral degrees in mathematical, natural and technical (MNT) subjects and are intended to finance salary and operating costs for doctoral students. Only institutes that have received a letter of commitment for doctoral students starting in 2026 may submit registrations. Applications are submitted via the Research Council's application portal and must include a project description as a mandatory attachment.

Research institutes that have received a letter of commitment of funding from the STIPINST scheme for doctoral students starting in 2026 and that are listed in the Research Council's allocations overview.

The Project Owner institute must submit one registration application per doctoral student via My RCN Web, upload required attachments in PDF (project description mandatory), and may submit in Norwegian or English.
