Max Planck School for AI in Biomedical Research

The Max Planck School for AI in Biomedical Research is a cohort-based graduate school that aims to train doctoral students to develop advanced AI methods for basic life sciences research and translational applications. It brings together researchers and fellows from multiple universities and research institutes across Germany, with a central hub in Munich. The School combines modern biomedical technologies with innovative artificial intelligence approaches and includes training in ethics, data protection, and data security. The School is coordinated by the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried together with Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and other partner institutions.
