Canada Arts Training Fund

The Canada Arts Training Fund provides financial support for the ongoing operations of Canadian arts organizations that specialize in training artists for professional national or international artistic careers. It supports recognized programs offering professional arts training and prioritizes Indigenous and equity arts training. Funding is awarded to eligible not-for-profit or equivalent Indigenous organizations to contribute to the development of future artists and cultural leaders.

Financial support for the ongoing operations of eligible arts training organizations; supports professional training activities preparing participants for artistic careers.

Applicants must have received funding from the Canada Arts Training Fund in 2025-2026 and be a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the arts or an equivalent Indigenous organization.

Create or access a Canadian Heritage account and apply online through the Canadian Heritage Funding Portal; follow the General Application Guidelines and applicable Application Guidelines for Indigenous or Equity Organizations.
