The Science Starts at School – Research with Student Participation competition is a national scientific grant contest for projects that engage general education school pupils in active research on specific scientific problems. It covers multiple scientific directions including mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, life sciences, earth sciences, ecology, engineering and agricultural sciences. Projects must involve public school pupils in grades VIII–XII, include a public school teacher as project leader, an academic scientist as consultant, and a project assistant who is a master's or doctoral student enrolled at a Georgian higher education institution. Project research duration is 24 working weeks and requested funding from the Foundation must not exceed 12,000 GEL.

応募資格

Public schools may submit projects; participating pupils must study in grades VIII–XII. The project leader must be an active teacher working in grades VIII–XII at a public school. The project assistant must be a Georgian citizen who is a master's or doctoral student enrolled with active student status at a Georgian higher education institution. A scientist with a doctoral or equivalent degree from a higher education or research institution must participate as scientific consultant.
