12th CREAN PhD Symposium: Exploring Emerging Horizons in Children’s Rights Research

The 12th CREAN PhD Symposium is a scholarly conference for doctoral candidates and supervisors working on children’s rights across disciplines. It brings together researchers from law, sociology, psychology, education, anthropology, political science, history and related fields to present and discuss interdisciplinary research. The symposium includes paper presentations with opportunities for double-blind peer-reviewed publication in the journal Child and Family in Contemporary Society. The event takes place in Osijek, Croatia on 5–6 November 2026.

Doctoral candidates and academic supervisors from various disciplines working on children’s rights are invited to submit abstracts; submissions may be individual or co-authored with supervisors.

Submit an abstract of up to 300 words including title, author name, e-mail, institutional affiliation and academic supervisor; full papers may be submitted and will undergo double-blind peer review.
