Australian Rotary Health Indigenous Scholarship

The Australian Rotary Health Indigenous Scholarship provides annual financial support to Indigenous students undertaking an approved medical or health-related degree. The programme aims to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to gain education in health professions and to encourage graduates to use their training to benefit Indigenous communities. The scheme supports a range of health-related professions including medicine and nursing.

$5,000 per year (payable as $2,500 per semester).

Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin (identify as such and be accepted by their community; a supporting letter from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organisation or community is required) and be undertaking and enrolled in an approved medical or health-related degree.
