Ambizione

Ambizione is a grant programme for early-career researchers to conduct, manage and lead an independent research project at a Swiss higher education institution. The SNSF awards two types of Ambizione grants for a maximum of four years: one that covers the grantee’s salary and project funds, and a project grant that comprises only project funds. The scheme supports researchers from Switzerland and abroad who have a link with Switzerland.

Early-career researchers, including researchers from Switzerland and abroad and those holding non-professorial academic positions at higher education institutions; candidates must have a link with Switzerland and each contact person can support only one applicant.
