Förderungsstipendium

The Förderungsstipendium at the University of Klagenfurt awards financial support to students enrolled in regular degree programmes who are working on a Master’s thesis or dissertation. It is intended to cover above-average research and thesis-related costs. Eligible expenses include travel and accommodation for research stays or conferences, specialist literature, empirical study costs and similar thesis-related costs. Awards range between €750 and €3,600.

Applicants must be enrolled in a regular degree programme at the University of Klagenfurt and be working on a Master’s thesis or dissertation that has not yet been completed. Applicants must demonstrate that the scientific work involves above-average financial costs, provide a detailed cost breakdown confirmed as plausible by their supervisor, and disclose any other funding applied for or received.
