University of Cape Town Mastercard Scholarship

The University of Cape Town Mastercard Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for academically talented Africans to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the University of Cape Town. It provides comprehensive financial support including tuition, a living stipend, travel, accommodation, and study materials, along with additional opportunities such as internships and mentorship. The programme targets economically disadvantaged African applicants with leadership potential and a commitment to community impact.

Full tuition, accommodation, monthly stipend, travel allowances, laptop, learning materials, internship opportunities, mentorship and leadership development, and access to alumni networks.

The programme targets academically talented undergraduate and postgraduate candidates who are economically disadvantaged young people with leadership potential from Africa.

Applicants must first apply for academic study and placement at the University of Cape Town, then submit a Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program application through the designated portal.
