Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships – German Historical Institute (Washington DC) 2027

The German Historical Institute (GHI) Washington DC awards short‑term research fellowships to European and North American doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars. Fellows conduct projects utilizing primary sources based in North America and focused on fields such as German and European history, German‑American relations, and international relations. Fellowships are for 1–4 months (extendable by one month in exceptional cases) with a stipend and partial travel support.
