IWMF Courage in Journalism Awards 2025

Nominations are invited for the IWMF Courage in Journalism Awards 2025. The awards honor women and nonbinary journalists who demonstrate extraordinary bravery, persistence and resilience in pursuit of truth, including reporting under duress or censorship. The program recognizes journalists around the world who have shown leadership and commitment to press freedom.

Candidates must be full-time staff or freelance women or nonbinary reporters, writers, editors, photographers or producers working in any country and of any nationality. Nominations may be submitted in English, Spanish or French; self-nominations are not accepted.
