Traineeship for a Language Technologist/Terminologist

The Traineeship for a Language Technologist/Terminologist is a paid traineeship position within the Language Services Division of the European Central Bank. The role supports testing and customisation of language technology and translation tools, terminology research and maintenance of translation resources, and work on domain-specific machine translation data. The initial traineeship is six months with a possible extension up to 12 months and is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Trainee grant of €1,170 per month plus an accommodation allowance; practical work experience in a multilingual language technology and terminology team; full-time traineeship with possible extension to 12 months.

EU nationals eligible for the ECB traineeship programme; applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in language technology, terminology, translation studies, computational linguistics or a relevant field and meet language and technical requirements.
