Dr Alan Lan Van Tran and Minh Ha Tran Indigenous Health Education Scholarship

The Dr Alan Lan Van Tran and Minh Ha Tran Indigenous Health Education Scholarship is a one-year financial award for students studying specified health programs at The University of Queensland. It supports Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander domestic students who can demonstrate financial hardship. The scholarship value is $10,000 and it is administered as part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme. The scholarship is funded by the Alan Lan Van Tran and Minh Ha Tran Family Endowment Fund.

$10,000 payment for one year

Applicants must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, demonstrate financial hardship, and be enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery, or Master of Nursing Studies as a domestic UQ student.
