Fourth Year Engineering Travelling Fund

The Fourth Year Engineering Travelling Fund is a scholarship for students enrolled in fourth-year engineering programs at The University of Queensland. It supports students who have completed an approved exchange in the previous year and are enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering or a dual engineering program. The scholarship duration is one year and the scholarship value may vary. The fund was founded by a bequest in 1955 under the will of Miss Margaret Nicoll.

Current UQ students enrolled full-time in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering or a dual engineering program who have completed between 44–52 units and have completed an approved exchange in the previous year; applicants must not hold another scholarship deemed similar by the Associate Dean.

Apply using the online application form. Applicants must provide a cover letter, resume, acceptance letter from the Host Institution, UQ approval letter for the approved exchange, most recent academic transcript, and a study plan at the Host Institution.
